The rapid increase in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere is the key event behind the changes
climate.
From this perspective, DRS srl has always chosen to strengthen its investments in terms of energy efficiency by installing a photovoltaic system with a power of over 900 kilowatts in 2011.
In 2023, Drs Srl carried out a major expansion of its photovoltaic system, increasing the overall capacity of the system up to 2500 kilowatts. This expansion now allows the company to satisfy approximately 25% of its energy needs through renewable sources.
The increase in the power of the plant not only represents a significant step forward towards energy self-sufficiency, but also reflects Drs Srl’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and the reduction of carbon emissions.

Certifications
Over the years, DRS srl has pursued continuous improvement with particular attention to the quality of the service offered as attested by the decision to apply three certifications aimed at respecting it within its organization.
Already in 2020 Drs srl achieved the AA level of the BRC certification, the world-leading certification standard used in over 60 countries
In the immediately following years, the company also pursued BIOAGRICERT certification for the storage of organic agri-food production
Continuing its evolution, the company has achieved the certification aimed at storing sustainable fishing according to MSC standards.
